Giving Thanks. . . With a Twist

By: Idyzz Baclaan

Thanksgiving Day is widely celebrated across the United States every fourth Thursday of November. In the Philippines, there are also few who commemorate this time of merriment. If you are a FilAm (“Feeling Americano”), you are probably celebrating this too. Haha. Just kidding. Seriously, the act of thanksgiving can be done everywhere, everyday and by everyone! It is a day for any Filipino, American, Chinese, Indian, etc.  to give thanks for all the wonderful blessings received during the year.
I, for one, have a never-ending list of the things that I am thankful for. One on the list is my team. I am so grateful that I became part of the CBT team. Even if each one of us has his/her own ups and downs, we still manage to move forward and work as one. So to show my heartfelt gratitude, I thought of giving them something on a random day at work.

Since my team LOVES to eat (This is true!) and I’m broke at the moment (I’m also not joking about this one, haha!), I prepared a simple homemade Hawaiian Pizza Twist. This is not the ordinary pizza that you usually eat since I have added some creativity on it – just like when you are making your art project.
